Field Studies
Set as we are in an unspoilt rural environment, the opportunities for field work are endless. This is especially true for such subjects as Science and Geography. Indeed field work plays an ever increasing part of GCSE/IGCSE studies. Project work is an important facet of study and often develops interest which outlast school days. Time is often set aside during the working day for project but one of the great advantages in being at boarding school is the extra time available at the weekend and in the evenings.
Other subject such as Art, Music, Kiswahili and English involve visits to plays, Art galleries and museums. Imani is well placed for such visits and there are regular trips to Nairobi
In addition each year Group goes on a camping trip to experience something of the magic of Kenya with its variety of scenery and wildlife, culture and History, both ancient and modern.
