September 2009 Newsletter

Dear Parents/Guardians:

We would like to welcome our new students and their parents into the Imani Family with this newsletter. Our numbers have grown by 30 students and we continue to receive enquiries and entrants.

This month has been busy with the Speech Day/Prize Giving Day which was addressed by Mrs. Wakonyo Igeria. She give a memorable talk on perserverance, hard work and acceptance of our neighbours no matter under what circumstances we meet them. She

left us with a G R E A T memory. Below are some of the events of the day shown through pictures.

The Year 11s completed their field work in Mombasa and had an exciting as well as adventurous trip. The photos below also speak a thousand words.

Mr. Joseph Ndungu has been training the students for triatholon. Day students have Been coming to school on Saturdays to swim, bike and jog in preparation for the First event scheduled for the 10th of October. We are still awaiting confirmation on the date and the cost of entries.

Swimming training has begun on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for swimmers from Class 1 though High School in preparation for the Swimming Season.

On Friday, 2nd October there is a Parents Forum for Year 12 and 13 parents in the House of Arts at 3:30 p.m.
