Imani School Prep Section

Imani School Prep section is the natural progression from Imani School Kindergarten. As with all sections of Imani School, we are located among the Delmonte pineapple plantation. Imani is a private fee paying school.

There are currently 42 students in the prep section in 4 year groups aged from 7 to 11 years. All students study the British National Curriculum Key Stage 2. Our children are of several nationalities including Kenyan & Indian. Most are day students from Thika and six are boarders.

Most sports are played competitively against other prep schools and swimming is of a high standard with several of our students frequently gaining medals at interschool competitions.

Each term there is an educational outing for the whole Prep Section. This term's outing was to Shade Net in Thika where the children witnessed the production of drip irrigation pipe as well as netting for flower culture and tourism.

The students recently took part in International Night along with other sections of the school and are currently working on a play, "The Fantastic Mr Fox", to be performed on May 12th.

Students at Imani are hardworking and happy. Most go on to the High School or other private institutions in Kenya or abroad. The British National Curriculum is recognized worldwide.
