Foundation Class
The foundation Class is a class which establishes itself in January to cater for the Students who have completed the local system in November and would like to enter university the following September/October. Most students in this class are within the age of 18 to 20 years. It is an accelerated 26 week course which is completed in June/July of the same year. Successful completion of this course will enable the students to gain entry into University. Past students have received entries into universities in England, South Africa, Malaysia and Australia.
One of the main courses undertaken at the Foundation Level is Law which has become quite popular. This is in addition to the usual courses studied at the 'A' Level, i.e. Mathematics - statistics, Mechanics, and Pure Mathematics, the three sciences, Business Studies, Geography, History and French. We also undertake to train the students in Study Skills and Thinking Skills.
